Nick grew up in Chardon, Ohio. After attending Kent State University for two years, he moved to Tampa in August of 2005. Once in Tampa, he applied and was accepted at the University of South Florida and in the Spring of 2006 he participated as a walk-on with the USF Football Team. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Fitness has always been an important part of Nick's life and he has always enjoyed working with people to help them achieve and maintain their fitness goals. Because of his passion, Nick became a personal trainer in 2007. During that time he worked in various gyms, built up his clientele and decided to start his own business to become an independent contractor. Through this process, and because of his drive to help people succeed along with a long-time plan, Nick opened up Sky Athletix in September, 2014 and it has been going strong ever since!
Paula is an ISSA Certified Trainer and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Education from the University of South Florida. She is currently the Director of the Dance Program at Progress Village Middle School in Tampa. Paula's focus is individual and team training.
Joel, a native Floridian, was born and raised in Dade City and have over 13 years of Personal Training experience. He holds qualifications as a USAW Level 1 Sport Performance Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and CrossFit Endurance Coach. Having served in the Army, he also was a US Army PT Instructor. Joel’s specialties include weight loss/fat loss, endurance training, teen strength training and sport specific training. Joel loves helping people change their lifestyles and getting them functionally fit.

Corey is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). He will be graduating from the University of South Florida in the Spring of 2018 with a degree in Business Management. With over four years of personal training experience, he specializes in high intensity interval training (HIIT) as well as sports performance. Having worked with athletes at various levels, he is diverse in his training techniques, personalized to the individual and sport. Corey drives all clients of any age to make exercise a regular part of their lives and maintain a fit, healthy lifestyle.
Paul is a 4th generation Tampan. He is a graduate of the University of Florida where he majored in Exercise & Sports Science with a specialty in Fitness and Wellness. While at the University of Florida, Paul had the opportunity to intern for the strength coaches of the school’s football and baseball team. He is Crossfit Level 1 Certified. Paul has been personal training full time since 2007 and feels it has been a very rewarding experience. Besides having a bachelors degree in exercise science, Paul is also a paramedic firefighter reservist with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue for Station 19 Carrollwood.
Cheryl holds the Personal Trainer Certification and Exercise is Medicine Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, is FMT Rock Tape Certified and is an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. One of Cheryl’s greatest passions is helping people understand that exercise is the best medicine for the body. She has helped many people reverse diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure with simple lifestyle changes. She personally uses exercise to help minimize the joint pain and fatigue of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Cheryl has over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry and has trained clients all over the United States and Germany. She has experience working with a wide variety of populations through many different fitness domains including weight loss, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and functional health coaching.
Anna is NASM Certified and CrossFit Level 1 Certified
Marnie is a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and a Certified Senior Fitness Instructor through the American Senior Fitness Association. She entered the health and fitness industry in 2006 and discovered the powerful combination of clean, healthy eating and proper exercise which was life changing; Marnie decided to share that transformative power with others. She has developed many exercise programs including Young At Heart, a comprehensive low impact exercise program, as well as organized and instructed several Boot Camps In The Park.
